@Tracy Agree, COVID has changed the game for a lot of companies including those that do not have employees working full time due to rents not being paid on time.

@Michael Helfant. It really does depend on the market. I agree with saving more and reading more but if the property is not in a highly sought after area you can get a great deal. Reading is great too but there is so much to read when you could be listening and hacking.

@Cesar Gomez House hacking a multi unit would be your best option.

@Austin Nicole start your research on the good property management company. There are good ones, mediocre ones and really bad ones. The application process they use will ensure good tenants. Good tenants that have been vetted will help make sure your income is flowing while you are setting up in another town. House hacking now will give you experience. Best to you.
