Wanted to stop by and say hi and I haven't forgot about those who I am supposed to connect with. Sadly no investing has happened with me as I was injured on the job and still fighting to get well. I was just able to get logged back in to start reading again. So hope to read some fascinating stories that people have been accomplishing.

As a newer REI student still learning reading this is very impressive. So congratulations on this. I still have some reading to do and researching before I'm ready to attempt the jump. However keep the updates coming.

 Austin, the guru was a part of Than Merrill's group from flip this house TV series. They were in Lubbock Texas putting it on. Me and a friend went to hear what they had to say.

Hello biggerpockets.com community. My name is Ricky Wallace and I am fairly new to the site. Currently I am a full time police officer out of the Lubbock Texas area. 

I hope to read a lot of information on this site and learn more about how to get into real estate investing as I have no prior experience. I found this site from researching after attending a big gurus free seminar.

My long term goals would be to be able to leave my job and spend more quality time with the family. I know this will be a lot of work for many reasons but will do my best to achieve it within 10 years.

I look forward to reading all the tips people give and taking in whatever research I can. I also look forward to interacting with others within the community.
