At this time I don't make enough income  with my side business to justify a 401K. If I could supplement that with what I make from my day job, that would be different. I am reading and talking to others trying to learn as fast as I can. I really appreciate this site and the willingness of those here to share their knowledge and experience.

thanks

Thanks for the quick responses! Great information. I'll look into an IRA LLC. Time to study!

Thanks Brian. So, does that mean that I can use cash from my day job to deposit into the Solo401k as long as I don't go over 24k (I am over 50) between both accounts?

I have just found out about a Solo401K. I have a small company on the side. I am a sole-proprietor but I still have a day job. Is it possible to fund a solo401k from my day job 401k and still keep the day job 401k? Hope thats not too confusing!  Thanks for any insights.
