Thanks Teri! Yes, I've been on SSA/Disability since 2010 and my health conditions have taken a toll on my finances. In my working years I made an above average income for the best part of my life. I didn't handle being forced to go on disability and a fixed income very well... and finally to the point of bkrptcy. I've worked since I was 12 years old and never had to file bkrptcy in my life until recently. I'm past it and I want to move forward! Anyway, frankly I don't trust "disability/SSA" to be around throughout my lifetime, so I'm searching for other ways to improve my net worth and replace SSA/Disability all together. Hence, the move into REI. I know I'm not in the best position to start this, but I'm willing to do what ever it takes to be successful!
