thanks everyone! I am planning on using the banks money to make me money haha so I was going to just save my money and pay the minimal on my mortgage so I could invest more and get more properties. My exit strategy would be to sell my properties when I am closer to retiring. This whole thing is to build my wealth and set me up for more opportunities in the future wether it be for business or retirement.

I just used my VA benefits and bought my first duplex! I am super excited but at the same time I want to make sure I do this right. Should I pay down my loan or just save save save? Or should I try to build equity in the home?? I want to invest in more properties and start building my wealth for retirement. I have done a lot of reaserch but also want everyone option on here. Thanks in advance!
