Post: Cash-Out Refinance on Home to Fund Real Estate Investments

Greetings,

I am a new investor in South Carolina and I am looking to use the equity on my primary residence as Capital to fund my investments such as flipping or rehabbing or even short-term rental properties. It's not enough to fund entire projects, but would be plenty for 10% to 20% of acquisition costs.

Has anyone else used this method of financing or could recommend other methods? Is this a mistake?

Any insight is appreciated

Good Morning,

I am an investor in Upstate South Carolina. I'm currently in need of a strong list of vendors and contractors who operate in Greenville, Spartanburg, and Anderson and surrounding areas. Preferably vendors with rehab experience and have worked with other investors, but certainly not limited to those specifications.

Thank you
