Was wondering if anyone has used a Binishell home as a STR? More to the point has anyone purchased land and found a contract to build a concrete dome home. If so what was your experience and would you do it again?

Thanks Greg! A lot of great info there, i actually already spoke with the town planning board and unfortunately the lot didn’t meet my expectations so had to rule it out but will definitely use youre advice when analyzing the next one!

Well i actually spoke to the town planning board yesterday and found out the parcel is only zoned for one single family and a few other issues with the parcel so ive forgone that one but im definitely interested in looking for others!

Yea me and a buddy of mine have a property in our sights but running into the same issue no utilities available on the property not to mention both new with zero deals done so we’re looking for some guidance from an experienced developer to see what the options are, if the deal is worth it and some creative ideas to draw clientele. Would love to discuss more ill pm!

Hello all! A friend and I are considering acquiring 21 acres of vacant land upstate ny, supposedly without utilities access. As we both have zero experience when it comes to land development we are both consuming as much literature on it as possible. Was hoping some of you more experienced in land development could perhaps suggest some more literature and maybe the steps we should take in doing our due diligence on this property. Considering the area it is in we were thinking of developing multiple str’s possibly in the tiny home/cabin category but are open to other suggestions as well.
