Hello everyone!! I’m a brand new investor been hanging out around BP for about a year and am finally ready to begin my investor journey to financial freedom. I do not have a team and need help networking. I have been self educating with books and podcast and webinars over the last year. Just last month I made the upgrade to pro to start using calculators and taking action. I think I may have found my first deal in Detroit. Problem is I live in California. My reason for the post is to get help finding agent putting together my team and getting my first deal done. What is the best way to network and build a team out of state?

Richard you will find no shortage of people here in Detroit that will take your money.  Make sure you have a nice comfy chair there in Cali you can sit in about 8 months from now and ponder how you lost it all...  all that "book learnin" ain't helping you in the D

Thanks for the discouragement Paul. Instead of telling how I’m going to lose why don’t you explain what steps to take not to fail or introduce me to sone people you know who would help. Sounds like your one of those ppl who will take my money!

Buy your first deal in your back yard, you want to physically be there and learn from the experience. Buying out of state as a newbie opens the door up for failure

That’s why I’m looking to put a team together threw BP. I completely understand the risk of out of state for my first deal, I think it’s best as I can’t afford to buy in my backyard due to affordability.

Hi Richard, welcome here. I am a new investor as well and trying to build my own network of people down here in Florida. It has been a task but in the end I am sure that it will be all worth it. Let me know if you find any reputable and beginner friendly investors on here. Have a nice day

Hello Tammy, I sure will!! I would great appreciate any good realtors in your area as well!! Good luck and God Bless
