@Luke Teson I am new to investing and live in SAn Francisco. I have friends and family in Missouri and am looking to try and BRRRR some properties there. I would love to connect to discuss the possibility of going in on a deal with you so I can really learn the in's and outs of flipping for cash flow. I recently got my RE license in CA and am looking to join a brokerage in January, most likely Keller Williams for their training. If there is anything that I can do to add value to you or your team let me know.

Thanks Aaronk for your response. 35000 on an FHA in the Bay Area would get me a million dollar multi. That would be great. I know that with my income I can qualify for 500000. Are you aware of how they take the rents into consideration and if that income would be able to get me qualified for the other 500000?

I am new to Bigger Pockets and love the site so far. I am currently finished taking all the real estate classes offered at City College San Francisco and have sent in my paperwork to take the CA real estate exam to become an agent. I want to try and buy my first property by the end of the year and am looking at a multi-family house hack in the Bay Area or a buy and hold out of state. My main question is what is a good amount of money to have saved to begin the RE investing process. What would you do with 75,000 to 100,000 in possible investing funds?
