Hey Carolina, welcome to the forums!  A new meet-up started last month called "Landlords & Lagers" at the Fort Lauderdale Brass Tap. I believe that their 2nd ever meeting will be next week (I'll be out of town and miss it, just like I missed the 1st :( ). There is a Facebook Group for the meet-up.

I'm in Pompano Beach, but frequent downtown a lot. I hope to catch you at Landlords & Lagers soon!

I live in Pompano Beach, and we've had insurance companies dropping their Florida coverage left/right for the past year claiming COVID issues or weather-related, so it's hard to find a good provider. Avoid state-run Citizens if you can.

Thanks for this great breakdown. I've been looking at Clarksville as an investment market myself (have a fraternity brother who lives there and is a wholesaler).

I'm down south in Fort Lauderdale. I used Gold Coast Real Estate's online course (also paid the extra $30 for the text book). Passed their exam and the state exam on the 1st try. I finished the state exam in less than 40 minutes and felt over-prepped for it.

I'd love to get in on these meetups if they're still on-going. I'm in the Fort Lauderdale area
