I currently live in Wisconsin. But I'm looking to purchase property in that area. The travel restrictions created a little hurdle in my goal to purchase something there. I'm trying to use technology to continue the momentum. So thank you. Do you primarily work Kannapolis or are you familiar with the surrounding area?

I hope you are doing well and staying healthy. I have been researching Kannapolis, NC and the surrounding area. I am looking to purchase a duplex in the area, but I'll settle for a SFH. However, I currently live in Wisconsin and traveling is at a standstill right now. Is there anyone here who lives there or has knowledge of the area that I can utilize as a source of information?

Thanks for your response David. I've been getting several responses from different ADT technicians. But most seem like they are trying to sell product versus giving me a straight answer.

Hello everyone

I'm going to try to keep this simple. I recently purchased a duplex. It's 2 stories, 1 apt up and 1 apt down. The lower apartment has 2 access points, the front door and the interior side door. There is an exterior side door that leads to the stairway. You can access the lower unit's interior side door from the stairway. The upper apartment has 1 access point that can only be accessed from the exterior side door. 

Is there a way to install alarms in both units that can both deactivate the sensor on the exterior side door. I've talked to ADT. Sighs.... that's been interesting. I'm posing this question to current landlords who may currently have a similar configuration.

I was starting to wonder if anyone from Milwaukee was on the site. I just purchased something in the Kops Park area. It's a duplex and I will be living in the top unit. From what I've seen so far, it's a good neighborhood. It's off of Burleigh and 85th.
