Quote from @Andrew Postell:

@Richard Edgar doing a cash out loan on land is EXTREMELY hard...I might even say impossible...but I can't speak for every lender in the country on this though.  So, you should reach out to some local land banks in your area (google search that term specifically) and see if any of them offer cash out loans on land.  That's the route I would suggest to go first.

That’s what I was wondering too. One local lender was willing to use our equity to purchase an investment property as a “cash” offer. Maybe the investment property could be cashed out in time?, but it doesn’t allow as much flexibility as a direct cashing out of the farm. Thanks for the input.

I’m a new investor. My family has a family farm consisting of 3 parcels of land. 2 parcels are owned free and clear. Each parcel is worth roughly $350K. That said, we’re currently cash poor. Any advice on the best way to leverage all  this equity if I find any good opportunity(s)?

Hello, I’m relatively new to Bigger Pockets and RE investing. I’ve been doing a lot of reading and looking forward to taking the next steps. Can anyone recommend some good local investment groups that gather on a regular basis in my area?
