As stated in my post it’s not me nor was me. I have holdings and have structured my self accordingly. However my cousin whose younger and still a little green asked me as his landlord is a habitual liar and douche. As such, he wanted to know if what he was doing was legal so as to have a gain some leverage should this guy continue to give him undesired drama and bs. Anyway thanks I guess

I'm trying to determine if their our any irregularities with the following. I rent under an LLC and feed under separate llc. However I use to rent from this guy whose legal name was on the lease. House was also under his legal name. However he requested me to make my monthly rent deposits into a non related account which was his llc for some separate business venture. Was that legal either in accordance with state statutes or relative to the irs. Thanks.
