quarter round. i would cope ends vs miter, no hand nails, use a braid or a pin nailer to avoid splitting your material. Also pre paint your final cuts, then install (no taping, masking therfore no mistakes), finally fill nail holes.

Pre fabs: other then aesthetics, just the potential for the additional seam to leak. Aluminum will last for a very long time, its the sealant that gives first.

Strip mitres... One seam is better then the appearance of 3, and a cleaner look.

If you need additional heat and humdity in the house? use indoor trap!! If you would like to move AC: Recover refrigerant, abandone power and relocate,
Relocate the unit to it's new location with pad, Re-route and re-braze the copper lines, Reconnect the electrical ,Pull a vacuum on the modified lines, Re-insulate the lines,Recharge the system.
Check out the system for proper operation. Or spend $50 - $60, along with an hour to clean out the 4" and install a good trap thats designed to eliminate lint build up. Boosters are available if needed...

if he doesn't have a worker you are fine.. WC is at the bottom of cert and is clearly checked. If its a sub, he will carry his own GL and separate WC. If its a rental, the Rental coverage under the GL will cover damages on behalf of the machine. If two separate entities are working as sole proprietors without any employees, all is fine for damages. If the job details more then one worker? you have questions...When a worker is on site regardless of the GL and umbrella, WC covers the employee(s) A tree falls from a crane onto a employee and a 5 mill GL wont mean much!! Many of these little guys like to save a buck, (if) they carry the minimal WC, pay cash to worker, and if nothing happens! report no wages!! If something happens! ohhh well he just started... Each state is different for comp and has begun cracking down on subs vs employees vs "none", the law hasnt changed in respect to whom is liabile on a property and whom is not. Glad to hear at least hear others are looking for certs and their values...

Assume dryer is for vent. lint is breaching the dryers trap an sticking to condenser, resulting in additional or frequent cleaning? Would recommend an external lint trap, leave vent in place. Check your manufactures recommendations for proper vent distances, check that the additional backflow from the trap is still feasible

For flipping, not personal use... China cabs. google maple shaker cabs, they are sold flat in a box. Alot a locals are selling these, will set em up and deliver. Solid Hard Maple faceplates, rails and styles. 1/2" ply, finish sides as needed, soft close draws, at a fraction of any store. Granite, want to find the guys that cut it, shape it, store it, install it. Cut out the middleman at the kitchen store, also rembrant granite!!! They will have left over pieces, from jobs that can do vanities, hearths, even a full countertop (depends on size of course) Again severly discounted...

Im not a painter, and ive had issues with every trade at some point When does the painter become the maid? When does someone qoute assume the cleanup from the previous contractor mess. If he has to spray or if he's cutting in near dusty floor or sills and it globs up and textures areas of the paint. Now he's a crappy painter and hes not getting paid. Maybe he learned the hard way, thats way he drives a Vega. HEPA filter recommendation, had the customer and the finish workmanship on his mind.
