Hi Dale,

Just curious, is this the type of properties you look for?

Hi, just some follow up on this thread, as I am also looking to set up a Series LLC in Indiana. I found this blog post written by Michael Smith on his "Indiana Business Law Blog" covering the requirements. It's an update to the entry cited above by Mark Yount.

 Happy New Year everyone!

@jack Gibson we will definitely be searching for property management when we start to invest. We're also beginning to consider Milwaukee. It seems similar to Indy, but even lower prices.

Hi William,

Just curious what you ended up doing? I am also a LendingClub investor and also watched the defaults rise. But it does kick out an OK return for me. But my focus is becoming real estate due to having a physical asset. I will still buy notes on LC, but moreso as another income stream, rather than a primary investment.

@Jack Gibson just curious, are you investing all over the city or just focusing on a particular area? We are getting more interested in the near east side. There appears to be a lot of good things happening in that part of town.

My wife and I spent five hours on Saturday driving for dollars on the near east side of Indianapolis. There are definitely opportunities there, but you also have to know the area. It was interesting seeing the various neighborhoods change from one street to the next.

My wife and I are starting to look at investing in Indy now. We have noticed there are quite a few duplexes on the market. Does anyone happen to know if duplexes are not a popular rental choice? We're interested in multi-family, but don't want to make a mistake getting into the market.

Thank you for any feedback!
