I am a new member and a home stager, I searched for blogs on home staging and they were from last November o6.

I am located in Connecticut and am wondering if there is any interest for an group here for professional home stagers within the Real Estate Services area. How do you set up a group or subgroup? Thanks for any information. Rhonda Rawlins

Hi, Jon. Thank you for your response. I do understand that this forum is not to solicit business. I asked if anyone had used or considered using staging really to try to find out if other members are familiar with it, or have opinions about it or questions. I wanted to try to gauge my future posts based on responses.

I am a very active member of the real estate site - Active Rain, where we have groups within in the site to share information about our industry, to learn from realtors, and to support each other. I was hoping for the same opportunity with this site, in fact, it was on Active Rain that someone posted about this group and encouraged stagers to check it out.

So you want to know what gets me up in the morning? what is my passion?

Well my children, and husband are my first priority, past that is design, art, interiors, houses, I have always had a passion for houses. I am very interested in the construction of houses, the style of houses, the psychology of what houses represent to all of us, how houses help people build wealth, I love learning about various archectitural styles. How houses change with the changes and needs of the society during any particular time in history.

I could go on and on. I love to learn, I am thrilled that I have the opportunity to satisfy my creative need to express myself in home interior styling and apply that skill to support sellers in one of the most critical times in their lives.

I also love to take that a step further with interior design or redesign and help people create an environment in their homes that nutures them, that enhances their quality of life, that reflects their values and interests. a place they love to be and to share with others.

Hello. I am a home stager in Glastonbury, CT and am trying to figure out the ins and outs of the site. I did not see any other stagers listed as members. Has any members selling properties had any experience working with home staging? The greater Hartford, CT market is really starting to understand how effective staging is in marketing a property faster and for more money. Would love to hear from any members about their experience with staging, or if they have not considering staging as part of their marketing efforts what questions you may have about home staging.
