@Marquis Harris

Appreciate it buddy! I bought that property 3 years ago! haha

I'm on to my third property now. Always great to meet local investors though. Let me know if you want to chat virtually and share war stories.

@Terry Dolson

Woonsocket has been a great town for me to get my foot in the door. Do your research and try to find a nicer pocket of town. Let me know if you want to meet up virtually for a quick chat.

Hey guys!

I'm in the middle of closing on a multi family in northern Woonsocket, RI with a lot that spans into Blackstone, MA.

Any investors out there in Woonsocket? I'm looking to connect with the other local investors in the area who can offer different pieces of advice. This is our first purchase and will be owner occupied.

Thanks!

@Joel Owens

Thanks for the tip. I'll reach out to my realtor and see what they know.

Hey Everybody!

My fiance and I have been approved for an FHA-203k loan. We are actively looking for a 3/4 unit in Worcester-Framingham-Milford area Massachusettes.

I heard Sunny Burns (show 210) talking about REO properties having a period where they were being exclusively shown to first time home owners. Any idea if this holds true to MA? Any thoughts on how to get started?

We've hooked up with a realtor in Hopkinton MA already (near my work)

Thanks for your help!

Another point of clarity. This is a Promissory note, so maybe the term "hard money" was not appropriate? Also, how important is it to have a document signed in ink by the borrower?
