Hello BP family,

I recently purchased a home with an FHA 203K loan. Rehab portion of the loan was to repair some interior work worth up to $65k. unfortunately 1 month after closing, I had one of the tenants that was getting evicted complain to the city and I ended up getting a bunch of building violations.

These violations are to fix porch, roof, and masonry work. bids that have received are totaling up to $150k.

I'm looking to see what options are recommended to finance that additional rehab work needed to clear violations.

I missed the last event. If possible, please keep me updated on the next event. I Would love to attend the next meet up!

Hello BP!

I've been listening to the BP podcast for a quite some time now and finally decided start reaching out to the BP Community.

I recently moved to the Chicago area for work and am looking to buy my first rental property in the next 6-12 months. I'm looking to buy a duplex/ triplex and with the BRRRR. I would love to learn as much as I possibly can about the market, how to find hot neighborhoods, and network with investors in the area. I'm currently working a 9 to 5 job from 6 AM - 2 PM but my hours are pretty flexible. I am willing to offer my time in the evenings and weekends helping other experienced investors in the area analyze deals, drive for dollars, marketing, repairs, etc. My goal is to provide as much value as I can and hope to establish multiple relationships with investors in the area.

Where are the best places to network with other investors in the area?

Thanks for taking your time to read my post and please don't hesitate to ask me anything!
