I'm a representative with TransUnion SmartMove. We'd be happy to look into this for you, please email us or send me a note and we'll look into it directly. Thanks!

That is some excellent and frankly, frightening customer service. Thank you Andrea. I'll send you a private message.

 Thank you! Will do.

Hi everyone,

I was hoping someone could clarify something for me about mysmartmove.

So I had the opportunity to use mysmartmove.com for the first of several times this past week and I love it.

During the background search of one of the applicant couples, mysmartmove notified me that "one of the applicant's addresses has been associated with fraudulent activity". Browsing thru the website it doesn't really clarify as to what that could mean. Do any of you have any experience with what that could mean and how I could investigate it further outside of asking the tenant directly?

Both applicants are strong beyond that. No criminal or eviction history. One partner is high on in the "Accept" range while the other, who has the address and fraudulent activity issue, is lower but still in the okay to Accept range as outlined by the website.

Any shared thoughts or experience with this would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Thank you for sharing. Yah, my family and I have been looking for 2-4 units and have been focusing a lot of our attention on San Bernardino because of the relatively high inventory for Multi-Familys and the comparably high cashflow even when the property is heavily leveraged. You're basically saying "abandon all hope ye who enter here" but as a fairly new investor, I have to ask: when the numbers are good compared to what else I'm able to find in southern CA, the units are rented out to long term tenants and the units themselves seem to be in pretty good shape, is there still virtually no hope?
