@Corina Eufinger growing up in Marshall, Deerfield and Lake Mills were rival schools and I am pretty familiar with both. I never thought about those as investment opportunities as they are pretty small towns, so I really appreciate your input!

@Denise Supplee thanks a lot for your response! There are so many markets that seem appealing in the state it is overwhelming! I completely agree with you about Sheboygan. I visit quite often and it is awesome.

@Dylan Brown house hacking seems like a great option. I commute right now so I'm not sure if it would be better to house hack or stay at home. And I am a badger unfortunately. But, my mom got her degree at U of M and my brother lives in Minneapolis so I'd say I qualify as both. Thanks a lot for responding

@Marcus Auerbach thanks for the response! Yes, Madison is a great. I have looked into Cottage Grove and Sun Prairie a little bit as both seem to be expanding and Amazon is building a distribution center nearby. I currently still live at home, so I'm curious if you see house hacking as a good option while I have this choice as well.

Hi everyone! I'm Reid, and I am looking to get involved in real estate in Wisconsin. I am currently pre-med while majoring in real estate, and I feel like I have gathered a lot of knowledge through University and watching BP over the last couple of years, but I am now at a point where I want to apply what I've learned and experience the ups and downs firsthand. I feel my next step is to find a market to invest in, so I welcome any advice on markets in Wisconsin to look into or some general advice on how to go about selecting and analyzing specific markets. Thanks, and I look forward to connecting.
