I have listed multiple MTRs on Zillow. They offer a month to month option and temporary/sublet for lease length. I hope that helps!

Have you considered shifting a rental property to a short-term or mid-term rental to maximize profitability, but don’t want the hassles?

I am a hospitality industry veteran and have been an Airbnb host since 2014. My portfolio includes successful short-term and mid-term rental properties in Illinois, Michigan and Florida and now I’m launching my co-hosting business. Staging, furnishing turnkey down to linens and housewares, photography, marketing and more are areas of expertise.

Please reach if you would like to discuss how working with a co-host can work for you. We also rent and sub-lease mid-term properties, so feel free to reach out about that option as well. Thanks in advance!

Hi all, new to the group. I own a few investment properties and would like to expand to a STR in the city of Chicago. I am aware of the city's licensing requirements, but so far, what seems most problematic is the lack of condo buildings willing to accept leases/stays less than 6 months. In searching existing STRs, it is very clear this happens in practice, but I am not willing to buy a property and gamble that we can do an STR. One piece of advice I heard from a realtor friend was to search for a single family or row home so an association isn't involved, but those are both outside of the price range for what would make sense. Does anyone have advice/experience in the Chicago market? Thanks in advance!
