I have a 1/4 acre lot in Lehigh Acres. If interested, send me a PM

I'm a newer investor, living in El Paso. I'd love to connect and network

@Derick Cross thanks for the knowledge! Sounds like a great idea, especially with having up to 13 years to sell after we move out!

@Landon Fillmore hey I'm here at Rucker right now, just looked into buying an investment property. The market is too inflated right now and will likely burst, so I decided not to invest here. Just my thoughts

@Cheryll Ramirez Thank you for your response. We really like the 38 area, very hard to find fixer uppers over there though. Any insight or predictions for area for best ROI over the next 3-5 years? Thank you! God bless.

Hey Reece! Let me welcome you to the beautiful city of El Paso,TX, I hope you enjoy your time here. It really depends, from my experience military families with kids lean towards new construction areas in 79911, 79932, 79938. Schools play an important roll for them as well and new construction tends to appreciate really good in those areas and are rentable to other military. Younger and single military personnel tend to stay in the North East (79924,79925), they seem to find something more economical there and relatively short distance to Ft.Bliss. Fell free to message me if you'd like to me go a bit more in depth.

Thanks for the response Jesus! We really like 79938 but as you've said in other threads, the inventory is very low and I expect there to be bidding wars. What do you project to see in that area 5 years from now? Are we going to regret paying sticker price for a home out there?

Hi all! I'm a relatively new RE investor and an active duty service member moving to El Paso from out of state, planning on living there 3-5 years.

I'd like to buy between $150k-200k, and I've been looking at zillow, realtor, etc for months. And I'm familiar with most of the zips as properties seem to be referred to by their zip.
We're going to live in the property, and may buy and hold or do a 1031 exchange when we move again, not sure yet.

Any guidance about where to invest, where to avoid, and any guidance on the current market would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance!
