@Isis Jay Network, network, network. I’m a growing investor and I’m working on building my network. While I primarily work with one agent I’ve known and worked with for 27 years I’ve started having other members of the community reaching out to me about properties they have for sale because they see me at the bank and the title company and the lawyer.

I think the more people you can meet and get to know the better you will be able to spread the word about your new career as a real estate agent. I don’t know how big your local or semi-local chamber of commerce’s are but if they’re not too expensive to join or if your broker has a membership these meetings can be a great place to meet new people. Social clubs like Toastmasters or the Elks club which does a ton of fundraising for scholarships for students and food drives for the community (it’s not just a drinking club) are also great networking opportunities. Think outside the box.

You hit it right on the head with finding my niche and Im going to be an investor one day so being an investor agent has always been a thought of mine!

I’m in the facebook groups, but I have not attended any meet-ups, I will be on the look out now!

Hand written letters to my SOI I really like that idea!

And I have all the books! Rich dad poor dad, and Gary Keller The millionaire agent and the one thing. I started reading 2 of 3.

Peace everyone!

I need advice and tips on how to dive head first as freshly licensed real estate agent!

I got my license in August and I have done exactly what I’m not supposed to do…I’m a secret agent 🥹

Honestly I never expected to pass the state exam after years of trying and then I finally made it happen and I’m honestly still in shock I guess. I haven’t put myself out there and I truly don’t know where to begin.

I vowed to myself to be the best! I will be a top producing real estate agent! I know it!

I just hate being new! I feel stuck, I don’t know where to start or how to go about not being a secret agent.

This is my first step of putting myself out there, please share your realtor stories, what worked, what didn’t etc.

I’m here for the knowledge and wisdom!

I appreciate the love and advice in advance!
