Hey Guys! I work with a great property management company out of the Newan area. They cover 16 counties in the metro Atlanta area (including Dekalb). The name of the company is My Rent Source. They do a great job screening tenants, promptly responding to maintenance requests, and keeping owners in the loop (communication). As a bonus My Rent Source was able to get me a $100 more a month in rent than what I was anticipating. They are very professional and make owning a rental property as hassle free of an experience as any management company that I have dealt with in the past. Do yourself a favor and at the very least reach out to them and see if they are a fit for you. As always, make sure to do your own due diligence. If you have additional questions about how they operate, feel free to reach out to me and I'll be happy to help in any way I can. Take Care. RC

I've never used them but my pool guy told me about K & G Patton roll off in Griffin. He said they were good and priced better than other companies. Check them out and see if they can help. Do you invest in Clayton County often? I'm pretty familiar with that market and if you ever have questions about that area feel free to reach out to me.

Take a look at John Essingman Wealth Advisors. He's based out of Cleveland, Ga but I believe he has access to office space in Dahlonega as needed. I'm not sure if he advises on specific real estate strategies but he does help clients facilitate real estate transactions as part of their overall financial plan. Furthermore, he and his wife own/manage residential rental property. I don't have his number handy but you can find him through Google. Best of luck and feel free to reach out to me if you have additional questions about RE investing or Mr. Essigman......as I've had the pleasure of meeting with him in his office on a couple of occasions previously.

If you have questions, feel free to reach out to the community. No one person knows everything but collectively we have the answers to any question you might have. Once again, Good luck.

I own a rental property (inside an LLC) that is owned free and clear. Is there a way to leverage this equity so that other properties can be bought? Will a lender loan to an LLC? Any advice/guidance on ways to access this equity would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Everyone! My name is RC and I live approximately 90 miles north of Atlanta. I'm fairly new to real estate investing (less than 2 years) and own a couple of rental properties just south of Atlanta. I was born/raised in that area and have a pretty good grasp on that particular market. I am strictly a buy and hold investor but would consider a flip if the right opportunity presented itself. Like many, my goal in real estate is to eventually replace job income with the passive income gained from leveraged and paid for real estate. I joined BP to expand my knowledge base from some of the more experienced investors on the BP site. I'm open and willing to share my knowledge/experiences with anyone who wishes to know more and especially those looking to invest in real estate south of Atlanta or Georgia in general. Take care and I look forward to interacting with many of you.

Welcome Jennifer. I was born and raised south of Atlanta. I have a couple of properties in the Clayton County area and if you and your husband need help or have questions about that area feel free to reach out to me. I'm also available if you have general investing questions. I'm not an expert but do have firsthand knowledge about asset protection, insurance agents, contractors, etc. Once again, welcome.
