Hi. I did this program at the lowest level. They are very knowledgable with some great ideas for marketing. My only issue was that 3 month was not going to be enough to really get anything going. I then got accepted into a masters program in Europe and so ended it early. If you have some additional money for marketing it would be helpful but overall these guys were honest and legit throughout the process. Since many mentor programs want you to split deals I actually think, for the money, this one is not a bad deal. People cry about paying mentors on BP constantly but then insist you need one. I have found it is MUCH easier said than done to find a good mentor at all, much less for free or because they just want to help. Another thing is I could tell these guys were working their own deals which is good obviously because they know what they are doing, but with no skin in your game- your deals, it felt like they were kind of detached. If I do another mentor program I will be fine with splitting deals- I think then everyone is equally motivated to help and get the deals done. Overall great folks though at Clever Investor. I hope that helps!

I did just want to add that most people here on BP are in favor of getting a mentor , it is just that many don't think you should pay for it. I obviously disagree with that since it worked for me. It allowed me to start out faster with good systems in place for longer term sustainability.

I got very close to going with this company but went with another one that turned out to just be ok. The problem was that the company I went with just didn't seem invested in the process or my deals...they had their own going. I like how with Phil's program they split the deals so they are invested in it too. I have gotten help from local guys too and that can be best...but there is always the same problem...they have their own deals that obviously take precedence. The comments j Scott mentioned seemed to me to be from 2010 dealing with a different program on short sales. That was 4 years ago and I didn't hear anything about that program, just the mentor one. I liked that they will help with commercial deals too. Those can definitely be more complex. I definitely am glad I got a mentor because it helped me to close my first deals. Many people here on BP are against it and very opinionated as always, but it was a good decision for me. I don't think you can always get all the answers or correct advice from forums. Though they are definitely a good tool. Best of luck to you. I'll be curious to hear how it goes if decide to go with them. I don't think it would be a bad move personally if you have the money and want to jump start things.
