CAD Designer.
- Plans for Renovations, additions, new homes, decks (steel and wood), foundations
- Onsite Visits (measure/consulting)
- Plans done fast. Worked with contractors, Architect (revisions/framing foundation plans), Real Estate Investors
Experience in the Lumber industry (EWP and Truss)
Experience working as a General Building consultant.
Experience working as an Assistant contractor.
Experience working with Steel, Wood, and Concrete.
Experience working with and relationship with great engineer

I understand the components that go into modifying a structure from the foundation up.
I'm an excellent resource to have for Real Estate Investors and contractors.
In terms of future partnerships, I am in the process of getting my Real Estate License and working to become an investor myself.

I've dealt with Atlanta before and am would love take on your project. I understand that municipalities in Georgia are going through many changes and how to work close with the reviewers before the submission in order to get your plan through with a little back and forth as possible.

Note: My profile is out-dated right now, but please email me ([email protected]) for a resume for more recent experience. I think you'll find I'm exactly what you need specifically in structural renovations and additions. With that being said, updated profile coming soon!

Thank you for your time.

A structural designer is not a replacement for a framing contractor but a supplement to a team of contractors. A good designer can optimize performance and value of the materials used in a structure. Some projects need a solid concept/design for the contractors to quote. Others may need creative approaches (combining steel and wood). I have experience in designing using sawn cut lumber, ewp, and steel. I can do simple projects, but my true value comes with the more complex projects.

I am a structural designer-CAD drafter able to complete permit drawings and design structures (elevated slabs, driveways, residential additions, decks [steel and wood]). I'm now working remotely. How can bigger pockets help me connect with people that need my services?

Welcome to the site, Damian. I'm also looking to acquire some investment properties in the same area (Gwinnett). Maybe we can work together some day.

Rayshawn Holmes

I'm currently a structural designer.

Hey guys. I'm a new agent (just passed my test!) looking for a firm to hang my license with. I'd like a firm that exposes me to both commercial and residential real estate. Do you have any insights or suggestions for me?

Side note: I'm currently a structural designer/building consultant with the goal of becoming an investor as well! Let me know if you're interested building a team!

Is anyone seeing more innovative housing? How are these trends being handled in Real estate? Are there any personal examples of successful developments? I'd like to start making proposals around my town (Gwinnett).

I'm an aspiring contractor in Georgia currently working full-time. I'd like to partner with other pros or begin working as a project manager. I've worked as a assistant contractor and structural designer. Please give advice on how you guys would recommend meeting the right people or taking steps to transition into contracting in general.

@Shane Hedeen Thanks so much. I have already connected with an agent in the area and look forward to meeting up with many more. I'm becoming a salesman, but I could be a key resource for renovations and new constructions. I'm open to potential, serious partnerships.
