I know when determining what you’re going to charge for rent it’s usually 1% of the purchase price but how do you determine that if you have 3 or 4 units in the home? Do you divide it by the amount of units or is it another method people use? Thanks in advance for the replies !

Trying to do my first house hack looking for opinions! Should i do a regular FHA or a FHA203k to get started ? I personally think the regular one would be better so I could maybe fix it up and get a little equity out of it but I would appreciate your opinions and thoughts ! Thanks 👍🏾👍🏾

@Aaron Klatt @@JD Martin okay cool makes sense but I’m trying to do so with the FHA loan so doesn’t the house have to be livable already?

I’ve heard several times On bigger pockets that we should start with a distressed property and force the equity but does that apply with house hacking too? Can we move into a nice 3-4 family home and still do that effectively, or would it be better to start with something less nice and fix it up?

Hello everyone! My name is Ray I’m a recent graduate with an accounting degree but that’s not my passion! I’ve been studying and educating myself over the past couple of months and I’m ready to hit the ground running investing in real estate ! I’m in the Philadelphia PA and if anyone in the tri state area could offer anything of value, it would be greatly appreciated !
