@LeeRipma - Thank you - I too thought having an agent as my eyes and ears for out state properties would be a good idea as well.

@HadarOrkibi - You bring good points as well, which is why I asked the question in regards. I agree that one would want the whole pot to themselves rather than share. Yes, I am looking in KCMO and I am currently putting together a team. I just happened to see something interesting in the area I am targeting and thought if I should proceed before I have my team completed.

I am an out of state newbie and have been looking in Kansas City Missouri suburbs

1 - I'm interested in a listing on Trulia, should I contact the listing agent directly or should I get a buyer's agent to represent me so I would have eyes and ears on my side?

2-Am I expected to pay a fee for buyer's representation?
