Try out www.prosper.com or www.lendingclub.com

I think this may meet your criteria.

Hello Cynthia,

It looks like you've done your homework here. First the homeowner said she owed $92K on the property and now all of a sudden it's $96K. This woman is using negotiating tactics as one would expect, but hers seem not to good in my opinion. At the end of the day do what you think is best. You can meet her in the middle at 95K like Christopher Salazar stated and show her the numbers if necessary to further explain your situation or you can walk and take the chance of her running back to you and settling at your price. Good Luck!

@Brian Adams

Thanks for the info. An interview is a must especially investing from out of country. My main thing is having someone who keeps that line of communication open, keeping me informed on what's going on at all times. Thanks again.

Hello BP,

Could anyone give any insight on reputable property management companies in the Killeen area? I know it's hard to find a company that is perfect, but is there a company that you have come across who haven't ran your properties to the ground or nickel and diming you? Please share...

@Brian Adams

Thanks for the info. As I mentioned I'm from Dallas and we have the military base in Fort Worth but their are very few to no multi-family properties available. Checking the MLS, I've seen multiple fourplexes in the Killeen area near Fort Hood. I'm working in Kuwait and have a few buddies here who retired in Fort Hood and made it home. Some of them are investors and sort of advised me to check out the market.

Hello BP,

My name is Raylor and I'm from Dallas TX. Currently, I'm living and working overseas as a government contractor (physical security) looking to get started in real estate investing. I would like to invest in the Central Texas area, mainly Killeen, in multi-family properties. If you have any advice or expertise, please leave a comment. Thank You.
