Hi Kyler,

Currently, I am concentrating in the Gladstone area. I am also keeping my eye open to other areas north of the river...but I plan starting in Gladstone. What parts of KC do you invest in?

@Pierce Robinson & anyone else who is interested. I got this from my RE class I am taking online. It has market trends, etc for 2014. It's an interesting read...

@Shawn S. Thank you! I do have a friend in St. Louis that used to be a RE agent in CA. She is interested in getting back in to RE but is new to St. Louis. I may try to figure out how to get her started there while I start here.

@Shawn S. Just curious...'how' do you invest here in KC when you are in Wisconsin? Do you have a team here or do you travel here? I ask b/c I am interested in the St. Louis market (after getting my feet under me). Just not sure how investors work in markets where they are not present, unless they start a team in that market.

@Bill Kennedy

Thank you. I am interested. Can you tell me when/where the May meeting will be? Also...do I need to pay anything? Bring anything?

Nick, Payden, & Kendall - I think it is a great idea to get together. The hardest part might be finding a place 'central' to us all but I am open to driving any part of the city.

Hi Nick...I am also in the KC area..up north. I am getting involved in RE & also hope to begin networking w/ others here. I've been scouting some local investment clubs here north but they are hard to come by. There are quite a few down south, though.

I have this same question. I want to do as much of my own legwork as possible without involving anyone else. Plus, I just do not have contacts established yet.

Welcome Pierce. I am also new to RE investing. In reading the 2014 Emerging Trends in RE, Texas is the big winner for this year as far as investing is concerned. Since you are a native...that gives you an advantage.

I don't know much now but as time goes by, hopefully I can be of help to someone...good luck.
