Hello everyone,

I am taking the first steps to invest in a rental property. I am looking for SFHs and was looking at Fort Wayne or New Haven. Fort Wayne has a steady growth in the last decade, New Haven is relatively ok.

I would like to understand if there is anything to consider with respect to the rental market in those areas.

Hello, this is Raghav from Dublin, CA. I am a Software Engineer by profession and own a home. I am in my early 30's and looking to diversify my portfolio by getting into real estate. After considering REIT for some time, I felt investing in physical properties has a better upside potential even with risks involved. My goal is to build wealth through a combination of high equity and positive cash flow. I would like to be part of a like-minded community, expand my network, and learn continuously through my journey. I hope BiggerPockets would be the first step towards that.
