Help!

Currently I have a Duplex under contract that is priced at 130,000 I have 20-25% down for the loan and would still have capital in the bank! I’m having trouble with my mortgage broker in regards to POI (proof of income) due to me being in sales and was unemployed for a few months this year due to COVID! Is there anything I can do?

Hey Guys, currently I'm looking at multi family properties with my agent and we are in the process of doing walk throughs and showings! What should I be looking for when doing a walk through of these properties. I've already done my numbers to make sure these properties are already contenders to purchase, but this is my first multi family purchase, so what should I be looking for or looking at when it comes to these properties?

Thanks in advance,

Ray

Hey guys, I've been networking and trying to find people in my area that are currently investing in multi-family properties in Connecticut, preferably New London County. I'm looking for meet-ups and networking events, whether that is in person or on online web calls. Anyone in the area that is interested or knows anything about the meet ups please contact me.

@Bonnie Rhodes I’ve been studying real estate from my mentor since I was 21-22 years old. Now I’m 27 and finally back on the market for my first multi family property now. It took me awhile to get here but it’s all a process, just getting the loan on the multi family property is a process in its own right, then finding a deal that makes sense is another. I wish I would have gotten my first property sooner of course but like you said you don’t want to force anything to happen.

wow @James Lapp , @Jaysen Medhurst . I didn't know you could become exempt from person income requirements, that's awesome. That actually sounds like a better finance option for my situation than FHA. Could you inbox me guys on the lender and route you took? I'd like to explore that option further.

Currently looking for a group of like minded individuals, I'm a very outgoing person always looking to learn more. Have been studying real estate for years, and am currently in the market for my first rental property (multi-family), I'm going owner occupied FHA for financing. I have already chosen my strategy/niche for real estate, but am fascinated my every type of real estate investing. Any groups or learning buddies out there?
