Quote from @Jason Wray:

R. Ali,

This is new to me as a Banker but may I ask why you might not want to entertain an FDIC Banks offer? Would it be better rates and terms or is it more of a shared partnership and share in equity.

Hi Jason, David had the perfect response. Did this answer your question. Ultimatley, I'm looking for others that have taken this path and can provide options.

Thanks!

Hello,

I'm an investor out of CT. My partner and I have 3 properties that we are in possion of and desire to do 6 deals by end of the year.

I'm looking to find Credit Unions, Lenders etc that provide Sharia Compliant Loans. As a Muslim I am not interested in traditional interest backed loans. So I am looking to do my first few deals (before the need for portfolio loans and private capital) with sharia compliant loans. For your information, a sharia compliant loan requires the lender to have skin in the game and make profits from rental/lease agreements with the buyer. What would normally be interest is revenue and what is customarily principal becomes shares in a partnership between the buyer and the lender.

So far I have found UIF, Guidance, Devon and IJara.

Has anyone else found further options? I am ok working with these, but the more options and possiblities the better deals can be made.

Thanks & Cheers,

R. Ali

Hello,

I'm an investor out of Connecticut. I am working with my partner on two properties out of our three in the Detroit/Gross Point Area.

Currently we are doing renovations with local GC ( which I would appreciate more leads on if you are willing to share); however I'm looking forward to planning tenants and comps for August. I would like to talk to some strong Agents and Managers to help me understand the market in ways I haven't thought of, to work with me to share opinions on my reno choices, to manage the property when done, and to work with for new opportunities towards my goal of 6 deals this year.

If you have anyone that I should contact please let me know.

Also, I would love to connect with other investors in the area and share wisdom, books and network.

Cheers

R. Ali
