I’m interested in buying a property to rent in either Norfolk or Virginia Beach. This will be a long distance rental, so I have some concerns with managing it. Are there any other issues out of the ordinary I should be worried about?

I am interested in purchasing an investment rental unit with my solo 401k. I would like to know if I could us my solo 401k to cover the deposit, and obtain a mortgage from a bank for the balance.
