@Jon P. I haven't looked into fundrise yet. I want to use a lot of my own capital to build and scale

@Hai Loc I definitely appreciate that and I'm currently working on capital right now.

@Ramiro Rodriguez That is amazing for real. How are you cashflowing on it? And how did you decide where you wanted to buy your land?

@Cortney Arenstein I see exactly where your coming from and the vision you're seeing on the outskirts of Houston. And I would be very ecstatic to see that vision come true as well.

I initially made the post to see where there could be possible ideas for $5,000. I don't plan on using only 5K to invest within real estate and right now I'm using earned income to build capital. Eventually, building my real estate knowledge to do deals with no money down.

Also I do understand that Houston is very expensive when it comes to duplexes and triplexes.  I may look on the outskirts of Houston or even in other states. It'll come down to doing research and finding the best area to invest into. House hacking will most likely be the best way to start. Getting into real estate as early as possible and making it happen.

Thank you for input and execution will take me to where I need to go.

@Julie Sisnroy I do not own my own house yet. I'm currently in the position where I'm working for earned income as well to build capital. I appreciate that perspective and what I need to do to elevate where I'm currently at.

@Bill Goodland Thank you for your opinion and I was just wanting to see what idea would sprout from $5,000. Because ultimately I would strive to do " no money down " deals as I increase my knowledge in Real estate. I haven't read Brandon's book just yet.

Also, right now I am working on building more capital and my credit score. Thank you for your advice.

@Gonzalo Gaston I appreciate it. I also am working as an W-2 to use earned income to invest. So what I'll do is build more capital and continue to build my credit score. Thank you for your suggestion and I'll continue to build.

@Gonzalo Gaston I'm being mindful of that as well. Because I understand $5,000 alone may not be enough in total. That's a base that I was throwing out there to see the different possibilities. I would like for my first investment property to be a duplex or a triplex. But I understand just getting into the game and starting is important too. I appreciate your expertise in the field. Thank you for that perspective and honesty.

@Brandon Fuhrman thank you so much. Your input is greatly appreciated. It all depends on what state I'm living in that determines where I'll look to purchase that first property.

@Ola Dantis That's also an idea or I was also thinking about buying in another state like Georgia or Ohio. I really appreciate the feedback and your thoughts.
