Hi we bought house in newyork, from public auction but did not check or investigate too much in detail at that time. Bought around 450k, later on realised there are previous owner Violations on the house totaling around 35k, prices in the areas have increased to 600-650k for similar properties, can we sell the same with Violations to the next seller? Or is there any way to get rid of this 35k Violations of illegal basement by previous owner, these were not done by us it was the previous owner / or the govt, because I bought it from public auction in Queens.

Any helpful comments be welcome to solve the issue
