@Collin Schwartz Wow.....great story

Congrats!

Firstly great thread for highlighting on good suburbs to choose.

@James, Since you are in New York, what is the plan to buy your investment property?

What are the criteria you set to buy the property?

Do you physically visit the property or DDo you use rental manager

There may be supplementary docs if the deals calls for them (powers of direction, assignments, etc). When it't time to get a conventional loan where lender requires that title be in your personal name the trust just deeds it back to you via a warranty or quit claim deed depending on what the lender prefers.

 Thanks Laura

@Raj Gott Just a LLC

If it is LLC on what documents did you use Notary?

The Notary was used for a lending document for the LLC. I showed my operating agreement to the Notary to provide proof I was able to sign documents on the LLC's behalf.

However, that was a separate matter from forming the LLC. There was no paperwork required when forming the LLC as my Attorney set it up online.

 Thanks Jordan

 Thanks, Jordan.

Did you create both Trust and LLC for your property in Ohio?
