Adam B. The Fed has already stopped printing money (quantitative easing) for over a year now! What they have now started to do is raise rates which is a different ball game and that will have a long term impact on rates but that will be much more controlled and the impact will be much more predictable given the hikes are % points. Also, on your point of the dollar what are you using as the base for the strength of the dollar (or weakness you say currently)? The dollar is the highest it's been since 2004 and stronger than it was during most of the 90s so I am not sure where your figure of .03 is coming from. Maybe you're going back way before the 90s for that comparison but I don't see that as relevant anymore given back then the US was a clear powerhouse while today many other economies have become much more developed.
