Hey all, Need your assistance, especially landlords. I live in a big apartment complex in a Missouri area, and have been noticing mold on the master bedroom windows since January of this year. I told the office, they sent their people to clean it, no big deal. Fast forward to couple weeks ago, I started coughing while I go to bed, sneezing, my eyes itch, couldn't basically fall asleep from the cough. Never thought I had an issue with a black mold in the room, I thought I had allergies from the high pollen levels in my area. But when I'm out of the house I'm not coughing as much I feel more comfortable, so I realized it must have been something to do with the mold. I asked the manager to move me to another same 2bed 2 bath but she mentioned they don't have any vacancies and told me she could move to 2bed 1 bath for the same price!! That's not fair and the wife isn't happy with only one bath and less kitchen area. Could you please advise me what my best action plan to take? Contact a lawyer? Not pay the rent cuz I'm not sleeping there anymore, I stay at my parents.

Any recommendations for an investor friendly brokerage around the St. Louis Missouri area? I got my real estate license 2 months ago and I'm not sure where to place it and what charges should I expect from local brokers? I'm afraid of being ripped off just because I'm not sure what to expect. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Raad
