@Shakaria Brooks I just finished his book too! I plan to start my 30-Day Trial in June. I'm in San Diego and I want to start off with some wholesale deals.

@Nathan Smith I am in SD. I haven't done any deals or anything right now. Just educating myself on the ins and outs of everything. I plan to start attending REIA meetings and local REI meetups soon.

Have you tried First American Title? I haven't used them yet because I'm still new, but someone I connected to on here who is more experienced mentioned them and all my reviews research led me to them too.

Hello BP,

My best friend and I attended a 3-day real estate "class", long story short we were scammed out of $1000. The best thing that came out of our $1000 stupidity tax was the idea that we would go into business together and essentially pay off our student loan debt.

The appealing world of wholesaling seems to be the best bet for us financially. I've been reading blogs, books (right now I'm finishing up "If You Can't Wholesale After This...I've Got Nothing For You"), listening to podcasts, and I'm seeing trends on how to start off in this business. We're going to visit our local REIA events, attend some meetups, and take advantage of any and all free events.

Just wanted to get some words of wisdom to any fellow San Diego investors out here. I understand that the market is "fierce" in San Diego, but whenever the chips were stacked against me in life... I made guac and enjoyed.

I am not an established investor yet, I am still educating myself on how I will begin. Could my partner and I still come to network? Our business is still in its infancy.
