Thanks for all the input guys, I'll be sure to look into the things you're recommending. I guess I can afford to take it a bit easier for now!

I wouldn't say I'm financially stable; I live with my parents because dorming is too expensive, and money is kinda tight right now. I'd be willing to work and scrape some money together to make an investment early on however, so I'd love to know about how much I would need to start off at a minimum. Any insight with that? And thanks Brandon, "The Ultimate Beginner's Guide" was what got me to join in the first place! I'll give the other link you gave me a look, and I'll definitely get a picture up sooner or later. Thanks!

Thanks a lot Granger! Good to know there's someone else who's been through the same. Any other tips you may have? Is it possible to end the "planning" stage and start the "doing" one sooner rather than later, or am I definitely going to have to graduate first? Again, thanks for your time!

Hey guys, I'm Patricio Vargas, or Patrick as most people call me. I'm 19 and just starting off in college, but I really do find the world of investment and real estate to be interesting and promising. I don't really have a goal or even experience in real estate yet, so the main reason I joined BiggerPockets was to understand the field more fully and hopefully start my career early. Thanks in advance for all your help!
