Greetings to all in Bigger Pockets.

My name is Davin Wright and I'm from the DC/MD/VA area. I'm glad to be on this website and looking forward to getting alot of information from different people on the site.

I'm really interested and ready to start and learn about Real Estate Investing. I'm more so right now looking forward in learning how to effectively wholesale deals to make a little extra cash to get my feet wett. How to start, where to start and what should I do first? I'm a person on specifics, so if you can't give me specifics on strategies I'll really appreciate that.

I have read different materials, books, been to a few seminars. But I just don't know where and how to start. My situation is that I don't have any money and I have a bankruptcy which was filed in 2005. It's a Chapter 7, not a Chapter 13. So because of my situation I don't think if I would be succesful in this, as far as getting loans of making deals.

Like I said I'm a newbie at this and if anyone can give me some advice and information I would really appreciate it.

I'm fresh out the womb about Real Estate so I need serious help about this industry. I see alot of people saying you need to know the basics of Real Estate first.

I'm trying to invest in the DC/MD/VA. I see alot of houses with realtor signs for sale. I wanted to know are thier deals in in the houses with realtors already in place? If their are deals within the house can I wholesale them?

I'm very interested in jumping into the RE industry. I've been doing research as reading different types of books, online forums, word of mouth and it seems that right now is the time to really get your feet into this industry. Also I'm tired of my 9-5 job that I know would not help me and my family in the long run. I'm ready to tap myself in with the other individuals that are really making money in RE.

So in that being said, my question is can someone who has a bankruptcy (a Chapter 7, not a Chapter 13) on their credit file get introduced in this. Well let me tell you about myself. My name is Davin Wright and I've filed bankruptcy Chapter 7 in 2005 and it is discharged. My credit is so so. How can I get started with that on my credit? Where should I start so that I can become on my way to millionaire status?

I really would like to do Wholesaling and Forclosures. How do you wholesale properties? What's the process? Right now I'm a baby at this Real Estate industry but with the proper knowledge and mentors in my corner that can help me I believe I can really succeed. I would really appreciate it if someone could really help me out with this.
