@Jacob Pereira, @Vikram Jayaram - Yes,especially the price point at which one can enter into SFR investing in Austin.Also have friends local to Austin and from west coast investing there and have seen tremendous growth in potential over there.And my own numbers were working out to be quite decent.

Besides,I already own a few rentals here in NoVA,so kind of diversifying so to speak.Homes here have become expensive with metro's extension to Reston/Ashburn and Amazon announcing their HQ2.I would have to admit though that I am lacking network/guidance on multifamily investing in the DC surrounds.

Mine was a 285K SFR in Austin,lender required 25% down,cash flowing about $400 a month,granted didn't factor in vacancy and capex since it has got almost new roof,HVAC,paint,light & other fixtures,new water softener tank,etc.

Totally agree with @Joe Scaparra on Pflugerville. I am an OOS investor having bought one SFR recently in Pflugerville. Currently cash flowing $400+, but they are getting expensive.

I am also starting to look out at Buda and Hays.

Prasad here from Ashburn,VA. Been lurking around BP,listening to podcasts,reading books by Grant Cardone,Robert Kiyosaki,etc for a while now.

I have wet my feet in REI already - two properties in NoVA and a recent one in Austin,TX - strategy has been Buy and Hold so far. I now want to venture into MF investing - been researching a lot about potential markets, Indianapolis,Fortworth-TX,Tampa,Rockford-IL,and also Nashville for a bit on Airbnb stuff.

I would love to connect with experienced investors,deal finders/makers,and open to advice from all.

FYI - I am working full time in IT,have a family with two wonderful kids,and also licensed financial adviser on Life Insurance,Retirement,Tax planning,Alternative investments - on path to sit for real estate salesperson license.
