Hellow everyone. When it comes to real estate and REI (I just learned taht acronym today btw), I know virtually nothing right now.

I was hoping that I could be pointed in the right direction. Is there a great website I could read and study? Any recommended books in REI?

I've read all the stickys and have been reading throught the forums today and will continue to do so. I have about 10k saved up and my credit is great. I'm trying to educate myself so that in due time I will be able to buy my first property (hopefully sometime in 2007).

Any advice from all the gurus out there? Thank you sooooo much. I can't wait to get to know more of this business, this forum, and the individuals here as well.

Hi everyone! It's nice to meet you all. I hear this forum is great for learning more about real estate and investing in real estate.

I'd like to own property sometime soon in my life (currently 26 years old) but before that I'd like to learn about investing in properties and I'm hoping the fine people of biggerpockets can help me out :D
