I'm looking to sell a mortgage note. I understand that to sell it I may have to sell at a discount. What is the typical discount? The borrower always pays on time and never had problem paying. Would like to get an idea of how much to sell it for.

Starting a marketing campaign to wholesale properties in Houston. How do I know which areas to target? Obviously I know I shouldn't target to new neighborhoods. I am mainly marketing to probate, tax delinquent and out of state owners. Can anyone give tips and pointers on what part of Houston is hot right now?

I would like to start off by being a birddog or assigning contracts. I agree the RE market can be intimidating, but not as intimidating as my rent.
