Good evening

Can anyone save me a little thinking and drafting time and share a template real estate investment (3 plus years) business plan with me?

I appreciate that the plan could differ quite considerably depending on the strategy - so I just need some headline building blocks which I can flesh out to incorporate and develop my goals.

Many thanks!

Paul

Good evening Joe, and thanks!

I guess it all depends on what we mean by "multi-family" and how many units that contains! (I just lost a multi-family deal in Bushwick, Brooklyn. That was a 3 family unit - a 3, 2, 2. The Brooklyn market is too hot for me right now, hence me deciding to focus on the Bronx and Queens - where I think there are more deals to be done.)

So anything from 3 units and up. I would consider duplexes, but the numbers would need to add up.

Hello

My name is Paul Angell.

I am new to real estate investing and looking to close my first deals in the US. My initial focus will be multi-family units and small apartment buildings. Target markets are currently the Bronx and Queens, although I will certainly consider projects further afield.

Until I find my niche, my aim is to gain transaction experience and exposure to as many aspects of the market as possible.

My background. I am an English qualified lawyer and New York Foreign Legal Consultant. I started practicing law in 1999 and moved to the US in 2011. I left private practice in 2013 and now work for an Investment Bank in a business role.

I look forward to working with you.

Best,

Paul

I am looking at residential real estate in the Bronx. Ideally 3 plus multi-family units or small apartment blocks.

Can anyone recommend areas which they believe have the most short to medium term potential for rental growth and capital appreciation. In other words, areas that are expected to be "up and coming".

Thanks,

Paul
