@Bryan Hancock - I just happened across this post, and I am so sorry for what you've been through.  We connected a few years back and you were so helpful and gracious with advice, and I always enjoyed reading your posts here and learning from your experience.  I wish you better days ahead, a return to joy in your life and much success with this next endeavor!

@Jay Hinrichs - will you be creating a social media presence with an official A Hero's Home FaceBook page, LinkedIn, etc. with donation platform?  Would be so much easier to share this with our friends and colleagues outside of BiggerPockets.

Great post, @Danny Randazzo!  I know this is an older post, but somehow I came upon it today - and needed to read those words!  So THANK YOU!  You've worked hard to build your business and you're a great inspiration!

@Jillian Sidoti would this apply to funding residential flips on a regular basis? I am looking to partner funds with friends and family in order to lend to a contractor partner, either as straight debt financing for acquistion and repair costs, or a combination of debt and equity partners, participating in profits after resale.  Do you handle these types of partnerships and have sample agreements and entity structures?

Thanks much!

Our hearts and passion are there in Charleston!  Unfortunately, we live in TX.  :(  Will get there as soon as we can, @Danny Randazzo!!  Until then, I will keep connecting with all of the wonderful Charleston folks!  I should be able to get there within that 55 year timeframe! :)

@Jacob Prelle you don’t mention if you have reserves, which you will need when buying rentals. Can you elaborate if you have sufficient savings / retirement funds for reserves?

Can anyone recommend a long-term care insurance provider with which you have personal coverage and great service experience?  If not long-term care coverage, what alternative products exist to manage this type of expense when / if needed?  Thanks in advance!

@Meghan McCallum How did I miss this??  I was in Tosa all week last week - and right around the corner from Hoyt.  My loss - hope I'm in town for the next one!
