@ Elizabeth Colegrove

would you mind elaborating on why you prefer conventional vs FHA? How to get a 5% down on conventional loan? Thanks.

Hello everyone,

I am a new (aspiring) investor from Grand Rapids, Michigan. I have been lurking around bigger pockets for more than 3 weeks now and I have been fascinated by tremendous amount of information here. My long term goal is to build a portfolio of rental properties through buy/hold investing. In addition, I want to do flips to generate extra capital to buy more deals. On short term, I am looking to house-hack a duplex or triplex with FHA loan.

I want to say Hi to all the investors/contractors/agents (and___ fill in the blanks) out there, especially to people from Grand Rapids area. I am looking forward to attending the next local real estate meet-up and meet some great people. Keep up the great work!
