Curious - does anyone know who the CPA firm was?

it used to be this company - don't know now

I am one of the investors defrauded basically of my life’s savings. Please put me in contact with others or let me know if there’s a lawsuit I can join. Thanks in advance.

please send me your contact info and I will put you in touch with others

Robyn,

We're "in" with you, already filed complaints with Nevada and Ohio, but we fell upon this "Bigger Pockets" sight as my wife was searching anything we could find on "Hughes Capital."

Can the attorneys demand (and get) a list of all the investors to make sure they are aware of what has been done to their "secured investment" even before a Class Action is filed?

If readers (especially those with houses in Cleveland) haven't read this article (from last April), they should:

Door to Door: How a set of broken steps illustrates Cleveland's dance with out-of-town investors

Guess who bought a bunch of those trashed homes in April 2021, through another Hughes subsidiary (Home Partners, LLC), who "sold" them to Guardian, and then to us, without any renovations (or renters) at DOUBLE the price they had paid!

Rather than fly there, we got an RE agent in Cleveland to locate and take photos of our "rental homes" when Hughes/Guardian further defaulted the leases by not allowing us access into our buildings to examine their condition, once we saw they were boarded up and unoccupied.

Our fear is when Hughes/Guardian now cancels their leases with us, we'll be stuck with a worthless property (no longer "managed" by Krch Realty/Hughes) that is more than a financial loss, but a major LIABILTY.

Let's work together to get this stopped (both their escape route of Chapter 11, and their fraudulent business practices).

Peace,

Chuck Lamar

 Chuck,

you can get it with the bankruptcy proceedings

"Currently, it is not possible to offer redemptions. Later in the year, we plan to start offering to sell the fractionalized equity portions of the homes"

the new scheme can be seen in this website - another ponzi scheme from the same promoters who sunk the boat for all the previous projects - who can forget their great contribution to the world of investment (lol) - this is so hilarious

the lawyers and bankruptcy trustee are going to make a nice chunk of change unraveling this mess.. You are the lucky one to get out of that deal with your capital VERY VERY Lucky and SMart to move on them when you did.  I suspect IRS will get into as well as other regulators.

we acted when we saw the discrepancy between their quartly number and K1. Actually their CPA knew about the entire scheme

they have about 35 to 37 entities and many of them are tied to their IRA. The money was siphoned to their IRA.

i wish  they were even 1/100th as smart as Madoff - these are morons - Jack was brilliant mind but lost his way. These are uneducated idiots

EVERYONE,

We have filed suit not only against Hughes Private Capital, but with all individuals and companies involved. KrchRealty right there too. The mortgage platform/company is "them" also. All have been served. They have co-mingled funds in every direction piercing their corporate veil from one end to the other. This alone exposes them from the protection of behind the title of "LLC" or "CORP" however it's the tip of the iceberg. They have lied, defrauded, misrepresented, and deceived. We personally went to our homes, and our partners homes, and have been horrified at the conditions they "guaranteed". My husband has met personally with the very arrogant Mr Noe and has communicated through multiple emails with Greg Hughes. Side note: Mr Hughes bought a plane and is updating his passport...hmmm...what does that tell you???

We also have notified the SEC and attorney general(s) in multiple states.

My husband was interviewed today with the Wallstreet Journal. (They contacted him). We have reached out to every news station and radio station.

My husband knows corporate laws, and regulations inside and out and says "this goes back to the playbook of Madoff"...only they aren't nearly as smart.

Come join in.  We are going after them all. Numbers are in our favor people!  Jump on board

they have transferred the money to their IRA

I have just sent an email to the legal department you recommended at NVlawyers.com.

We have invested with Hughes as a lender and now find that the Guardian company is filing bankruptcy and there is no longer anyone that we can contact regarding our account. We have been to their office twice here in Reno and all the people there say they work for the new company formed and don't have any contact individuals for us to speak to. We have emailed and called Greg Hughes and several others but have had no response. Please advise the best route to recover our investment.

Please file a complain with Nevada Secretary of State immediately. There is an active investigation

Filed a complaint with the NV Secretary of State. Hughes just sent an email saying that they are filing Chapter 11 bankruptcy next week.

Do not allow them to file chapter 11. Force them to go through Chapter 7 - they will be in jail in that case
