Maybe it’s a silly question, but I’d like to understand how giving one of our forum connections a vote helps them. I’m inclined to just give votes to people who respond to us, but I’m concerned the intent is more for members who have actually worked together.

Thanks for your reply Audra Todd. We want to use the house in New Concord, KY as a long term rental.  We're going to meet with a property manager today.

We are also looking at buying rental houses in Murray, KY. We are going to talk to our potential PM, who is also a realtor and investor, about that market.

Thanks Nathan. We plan to be ready to start investing soon. Right now we're absorbing all the information we can, setting up a solid financial plan and making connections.

We are gearing up to focus on "BRRRRing" our way to replace our incomes in 5 years. We'll be looking for distressed properties and team members to start putting deals together.

We are new at this and primarily focusing on learning. We are interested if there are others within this network in the Nashville, TN/Wilson Cty area. I believe BiggerPockets is a social media platform of sorts and need help connecting with others in the area. Thank you.

Pierre and I (Diane) are new members as of this week. We are spending a lot of our time researching at this point… ie: Podcast, Webinars, recommended books, looking at houses for sale, etc.  we already own a house by Kentucky lake that we inherited after the passing of my mother. My brother and I own this together. It has been on the market for almost 6 months and we are considering taking it off the market and making it rental property. It is completely paid for and in great condition, but rather small. We are excited to see where this goes and just needing to get more comfortable working the numbers using the calculators provided by bigger pockets.  Lots of info to learn and currently feels like drinking water from a firehose! 🤣. I’m sure in time, stuff will click.
